Packages & Prices

We offer multiple options to suit different cooperative divorce priorities. Not sure which is right for you? Schedule a free consultation to learn about your options.

All of our packages include attorney-prepared legal documents, unlimited call and email communication, extra drop-in sessions, and a friendly attitude. With fixed fee packages, you know the cost of your divorce up front, avoiding the stress of escalating legal fees. Fees are paid up front (but we do accept PayPal). We are absolutely confident that you’ll find exceptional value in knowing all aspects of your divorce are personally handled by a highly-experienced, responsive and professional attorney-mediator.

Couples working together:

Mediation packages break your process into two, three or four long sessions. This allows for more time in-session and a more measured pace. Clients choose mediation when they have complex matters, long marriages, own businesses, or difficulty communicating, when they need time between sessions to consider agreements, or wish to utilize an expert co-mediator for assistance with financial matters or parenting arrangements. $4000 to $6000

Divorce in a Day
Our proprietary Divorce in a Day mediation provides a highly supported and structured process for couples seeking the support of a traditional mediation package but also time- and cost-efficiency. Spouses complete a short preparation packet, then meet for a mediation session of four to six hours in order to complete divorce paperwork and mediate agreements on all matters. Within five days, couples have a comprehensive divorce agreement to review, sign and file. $2850

DIY Divorce
For spouses who have already reached agreements, or think they can reach agreements with a guidance packet provided by the mediator, the DIY Divorce provides the most economical method to ensure that all of the procedural aspects of the divorce are properly handled. After spouses complete a preparation packet, they attend one mediation session to confirm all agreements, resolve conflicts, and handle any complexities. $2450

For spouses working unilaterally:

Uncontested Divorce
If mediation isn’t practical because your spouse is out of the area or prefers not to work with a mediator, you can hire a consulting attorney to advise you, prepare all of the paperwork needed to complete your divorce, and work with your spouse in a productive, cooperative manner. In order to fully support your goal to remain cooperative, the consulting attorney will not represent you in court. $2250

Step-By-Step Divorce
You might prefer to take the divorce process in stages, either because you aren’t sure how your spouse will respond, or you prefer not to pay up front. The Step-By-Step process also suits people who need limited services because they’ve already started the divorce process, or wish to conserve resources by doing some work on their own. You’ll schedule four meetings, one for each step of the cooperative process, paying as you go. $450 + $450 + $450 + $975

Pre Marital Agreement Review
California law may allow for invalidation of a prenuptial agreement if spouses-to-be don’t have independent counsel. You can schedule a meeting to review the terms of your prenuptial agreement, discuss the complex laws that apply, learn how to protect your assets if the prenup is invalidated, and get all your questions answered. $750

Qualified Domestic Relations Orders
If you divided a cash-balance retirement or deferred compensation plan at divorce, you will likely need an additional court order to subject the retirement plan to carry out the division. This “QDRO” is prepared to each plan’s specifications, circulated to the plan for pre-approval, sent to both spouses for signature, filed with the court, and returned to the plan with a confidential supplement to protect your privacy. $550
